A personal laundry basket that alleviates the problems of washing, carrying, and storing personal laundry when living in a shared space.

  • Losing clothes and confusing items that are not your own can be a problem when doing laundry in a shared space such as an apartment or dormitory.
  • Though a washing machine is shared, is there a way to create a personal laundry basket system that can be used when doing laundry?
  • BASKET WASHER considers communal living spaces by being able to put the basket directly inside the washing machine.
  • When the laundry is completed, the basket can be removed simply, making a shared washing machine feel as if it is your own.
  • The design also allows you to enjoy your time freely while cleaning your clothes. You can check the remaining washing time and even receive a notification when the laundry is finished via your mobile.

  • Existing washing machine UI (User Interfaces) are not intuitive and are difficult to use due to their numerous buttons and words.
  • We thought about how to provide an interface that is clear, easy, uncomplicated.
  • Clean-Line One displays the entire laundry process in a the form of a sentence, making it easy to understand and use. An intuitive UI is controlled by touch scrolls.
  • With ‘Zoom mode’ and ‘Voice guidance’ the device can easily be used by all, including the elderly and visibly impaired.

DRAG WATER

A convenient water purifier that is designed to fill any sized container from any position.

  • Existing water purifiers can be uncomfortable in that they require the user to push a cup against a lever. They can also be dangerous if you intend to fill a container with hot water.
  • It can be especially difficult when filling up large containers or multiple cups at the same time.
  • DRAG WATER makes it convenient and comfortable to get water using an infrared sensor that can identify where to pour water, regardless of its location of the cup.
  • Densely arranged nozzles at the top allow multiple containers of various sizes to be filled simultaneously, making it especially useful while cooking or hosting a party at home.

  • Using headphones outdoors are an easy way to block ambient noise, but they can also lead to dangerous situations.
  • Why are there no earphones that can adjust the volume of music but also turn the noise of everyday life on and off?
  • FOCUS features a uniquely designed cap that can selectively block external noise, allowing users to simultaneously enjoy their music while giving them a safe way to enjoy the abundant pleasures of everyday life.
  • The ear caps can be operated simply with the press of a finger, ensuring the earphone stays in place without falling out.

  • Many people often forget to take their medication during their busy daily routine.
  • Even when a person remembers to take their medication, the packages often separate and can be easily lost in a bag or drawer.
  • Being able to mount these packages to any surface, like you would a Post-it®, makes it easier to remember to take your medication.
  • POST PILL features an adhesive strip at the top of each package, allowing users to separate and post them in places that are more prominent and convenient.
  • Not only does it help minimize the risk of losing medication, it also reminds you to take all of your pills in order to keep you healthy.

SAFE LANTERN

A portable lantern that protects users from possible dangers during outdoor activities

  • Dangers like fire or getting lost are always a possibility when participating in outdoor activities like hiking or camping.
  • SAFE LANTERN is a lantern that provides light during outdoor activities, but also has the ability to protect users from external danger.
  • SAFE LANTERN features internal smoke-detecting sensors and an alarm to notify users if there is a dangerous situation such as a fire.
  • Users can also unlock and push the emergency button to make a distress call. A signal from the safe lantern will provide the users’ location via the built-in GPS.
  • Its special hooked design makes it extremely portable, and can also be used like a lamp for mood lighting.

UNIVERSAL BUS BELL

A bus bell system designed to make a bus safer by identifying passenger information.

  • 버The majority of bus accidents occur when buses suddenly start or stop, and when passengers get off the bus. The pregnant, elderly, and physically disabled are especially vulnerable to these accidents.
  • Is there a way to develop a new system that prevents accidents at bus stops?
  • UNIVERSAL BUS BELL is a bell system that can be conveniently used by all passengers while protecting them when getting off the bus.
  • The user presses a button that corresponds to the their physical abilities, instantly relaying information to the driver. Based on this signal, the driver can adjust the amount of time needed to ensure a passenger has safely disembarked.
  • Notifications displayed outside the bus increases safety by alerting other vehicles during operation.

UNIVERSAL HAND DRYER

A hand dryer that changes the direction of air based on the direction of a user’s hand

  • Many hand dryers in public restrooms are installed in a fairly high position, making it difficult to use for children and those in a wheel chair.
  • Imagine a hand dryer that can comfortably dry users’ hands regardless of their height or position.
  • UNIVERSAL HAND DRYER detects if a user’s hands approach from the top or bottom, and adjusts the position of the blowing air accordingly.
  • Much like a way a fan circulates air, the dryer can be easily used without having to be in an uncomfortable position.
