An Innovatively Manufactured Lifestyle Design
We contemplated on the materials and
manufacturing processes that are most suitable
with the Galaxy Home’s functions and conceived a
lifestyle design that focuses on design values than
convenient production. The One Piece Fabric that
wraps around the product has been produced by a
groundbreaking manufacturing method that can
create 3D forms with a general weaving process
that doesn’t require the use of three-dimensional
weaves. We also hid the Parting Line, which is a
necessary part of the product, to instill handmade
sentiments for a mass-produced product.
A Tripod Stand that Focuses on Function
Music is invisible to the naked eye, but speakers are
in plain sight. This is why we envisioned a speaker
that can blend with its surroundings and become an
interior design objet. The tripod stand not only
considered richness in sound, but also the
sentimentality of furniture such as a chair, table, or
light stand. It showcases an iconic design while
staying true to its original identity of the Galaxy
Home by providing state-of-the-art musical
experience.

The Galaxy Home is faithful to its role as a speaker
that is designed to express auditory sensibilities. It
manages to produce pristine audio quality even in
large areas through a high amplifier output of 110W.
Six speakers that handle mid-to-high pitches cover
360 degrees of an area, and the woofer that handles
low pitched sounds secures an area underneath that
emits lower pitches to produce a deeply balanced
and intricate sound quality.
The surround sound that transmits tunes in all 360
degrees provides users with an all-encompassing
musical experience. The SoundSteer function, which
detects a user’s location to focus sound waves in
that direction, offers a three-dimensional and rich
auditory pleasure.
AI for Smartness that Goes Beyond Convenience
Smart experiences that once remained in
momentous occasions of everyday life now expand
into our lifestyles through the Galaxy Home. The
Galaxy Home embraces Bixby’s artificial intelligence
to control Samsung Electronics’ various smart home
appliances. Like a close friend, it can recommend
music that suits your mood and atmosphere, or help
you make calls and check your daily schedule with
voice command.
If you set your desired Scene in advance through the
SmartThings app, you can easily control different
home appliances all at once. You’ll also get a
notification when the appliance is done with its
process, so your smart experience continues even in
the little moments of daily life.

When you turn on the Galaxy Home, a gentle light
and orchestral melody will warmly greet you. The
delicate booting sound that resounds when you first
encounter the product has been designed in an low-
pitched acoustic style to provide a comfortable and
stable audible mood. The response sound you hear
when you call Bixby is identical to the Galaxy
smartphone to establish a consistent user
experience among Samsung products.
Furthermore, the alarm sounds are designed in
three styles: Gentle Waves, Morning Flower, and
Joyful Bells, to help you begin your day with your
choice among a medley of moods.
