WW9000: Design that starts from consideration.
Rethinking the Washing Machine - To make laundry a liberating experience rather than a routine chore, we re-designed the washing machine focusing on the user’s experience. The key was to design a washing machine that would communicate with its user.
Stepping Forward - The new design brings the washing machine one step closerto the user. The rouned line of the upper panel represents its gesture, always ready to greet.
Refined Elegance - The WW9000 does away with the stiff,machine-like image of washing machines, andtakes on a personality of elegance and refinement.
Big Crystal Blue Door - The translucent blue material of the door, created with Samsung’s unique double injection molding technology, adds a sense of delight by refracting light to create a spectrum of colors
Elevated Drum - The level of the door was elevated 30mm so that the user doesn’t have to bend down uncomfortably, Besides, the door handle was repositioned to 45 degrees to make it easier for the user to open and close.
Environmentally Conscious
Inspired by Nature - The movement of water flowing through pebbles in a river was the inspiration behind the Swirl Drum Pattern.
Inspired by Nature - The detergent balls are shaped like pebbles, whichusers can fling into the laundry like throwing stones into a pond
De-stress Auto Dispenser - The Auto Dispenser automatically measureshow soiled the laundry is and injects more detergentwhen necessary.
All Here – Full Touch Screen - All of the controls are operated through the Full Touch Screen which responds to the user’s touch,so that the user no longer has to search through complex buttons.

WW9000, A design that remembers its user - The “Most Used” functiontakes note of the frequently used cycle, and shows it on the main screen. Meanwhile, the“Favorites” function allows users to personalize their own patterns The intuitive nature and familiar images make the machine more comfortable to use.
