What if a vivid screen was projected wherever you looked? Life would become more flexible for work, play, and, of course, movie nights. The moment we experience screens freely, in any place, we’re no longer confined to set limits. With a design that maximizes sculptural beauty and the addition of touch interaction, The Premiere 5 creates new value and stories in everyday life.

Smaller Form, Greater Possibilities

An Ultra Short Throw projector, The Premiere 5 is designed to be small and light, breaking free from traditional use and stationary setups. Since the projector houses optical technology, a certain amount of space must be kept free. Designers and engineers focused on minimizing the size and weight of the product within these limitations.

The result is an Ultra Short Throw projector designed so compactly that it can be moved wherever you need it. Using triple laser technology, it produces a Full HD screen up to 100 inches on walls, floors, and desks, filling the space with immersive content wherever you need a screen. Blend into Home, Blend into Life

During design, attention was paid to preserving The Premiere’s ‘Blend into Home’ concept from the previous model while maximizing the compactness of The Premiere 5. Just like a beautiful vase on top of a piece of furniture, the design had to blend in even when moved from room to room. Projectors are usually imagined as wide and horizontal with a recessed optical unit. However, The Premiere 5 completes a room with its long, vertical form and enriches our lives with aesthetic visuals.

Details Elevating Aesthetics

The soft, rounded form and the fabric-like texture on top create a welcoming aesthetic contrasting with the typical rigidity of electronics. In particular, The Premiere 5 turns the projector’s essential ventilation holes into a design element. The surface is covered with TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) perforated in a serrated pattern to cover the ventilation holes and forge a sense of rhythm. The warm texture and grip of the TPU improve the product’s overall usability.

Move It. Touch It.

The Premiere 5 is Samsung’s first touch interactive projector. Complete with a built-in IR camera and IR laser module, the dedicated touch interaction stand connects magnetically so it can be assembled easily by anyone. The screen can be projected onto a table or the floor with a simple stand attachment, meaning users can trace a projected image, play games with a group, or press pause on a yoga video to adjust posture. It’s useful anytime direct interaction with a wide, bright, and clear screen is needed.

Set the Mood, Fill the Space

When you’re not using the screen, it simply exists in your space as a design piece or smart speaker. Fill spaces with music to set the mood or pair it with Samsung Music Frame for an immersive sound experience with Q-Symphony. Plus, users can control smart devices directly from The Premiere 5 using built-in SmartThings.
