One UI, the interface of Samsung Galaxy products, meets XR devices to expand the boundaries of experiences. As the stage for extended reality through Galaxy XR, One UI XR transforms daily life into a canvas for exploration, going beyond simply looking at a screen to actively shaping and enjoying the environment. With natural interactions like gaze, gestures, and voice, it allows each user to explore XR at their own pace and in their own way.

One UI XR makes new spaces feel familiar, without the need for a manual, through visual cues and gestures. With minimal visual elements that users naturally adapt to, it cultivates an intuitive understanding of what to do and how to interact.

When the product is first turned on, refined line graphics on the Out-of-box experience screen guide users for easy comprehension. A simple tutorial introduces the basic operations, enabling users to gain hands-on experience and master interactions through gaze, gestures, and voice. The initial start screen is designed panel-free, creating a more open and flexible environment.

Multimodal input and conversational interfaces are essential for making XR experiences feel natural. Rather than simply offering diverse input methods, the purpose is to seamlessly connect human senses and actions with technology.

One UI XR utilizes gaze, gestures, and voice simultaneously, enabling deep content immersion. With Gemini built in, the conversational interface evolves beyond simple command recognition to understand language and context. Users can communicate through natural conversation without learning rules and receive instant feedback that feels less like ‘inputting information’ and more like genuinely having a conversation with AI.

By combining multimodal and conversational input, One UI XR empowers users to actively explore and shape extended reality, continuously expanding the scope of their experiences.

Creating a New Dimension of Immersion

Virtual Environment

For users, immersion in extended reality means giving users a true sense of agency within the space. One UI XR extends the entire user environment into a three-dimensional interface. In a 360-degree field of view, shifting one’s perspective is no longer a passive act of ‘looking’, but an active process of broadening one’s own experience.

Feel free to move the windows around the screen.

Streamlined Space

Moving or resizing windows becomes a creative act, allowing users to design their own immersive environment. With flexible placement and intuitive alignment, the space can be configured freely to suit individual needs.

Immersive View

The extended reality experience begins in the Home Space of One UI XR, where multiple apps can be viewed on a single page. Going a step deeper, the Full Space, allows users to focus on one task at a time. Finally, entering Immersive Mode takes users beyond the boundary between virtual and real, enabling complete absorption in the content. This step-by-step progression—from extension, to focus, to full immersion—gives users control over the intensity of their experience.
