One UI 7 is organized consistently and concisely to clarify the hierarchy of information across components and contents. Utilizing a circle, a simple shape with high scalability, soft and elegant curved outlines appear as a visual element across the screen. This visually seamless, balanced design provides users with a highly polished experience. Also, the app icons were designed to maintain the key elements while maximizing functionality and differentiation. The icons were designed to be easily, quickly recognizable and categorized, with an attractive flair for enhanced aesthetic quality. Images are simulated for illustration purposes only, actual UX/UI will be different.

The faint translucency of the blur effect creates a sense of depth and delicate texture as the layers amass. The occasional appearance of colored glass over the blur adds to the screen’s sensibility and clearly conveys the nature of the information on top. A colorful gradient effect is applied to the first screen when a new product is turned on, and to the screens where the user meets the whole background, like the Clock, Calendar, Reminder, or the moment an alarm goes off at a set time. Also, the motions and interactions seen when elements appear or disappear, or components shift and transition, are designed to enhance the sense of space. The natural effects and friendly operating experience make the screen feel more intuitive and immersive. Images are simulated for illustration purposes only, actual UX/UI will be different. Several images have been created by generative AI (Midjourney).

The home screen presents a more organized look with a new grid layout and refined widget designs. Also, interaction zones are separated to more intuitively check notifications and install or control frequently-used features—swipe the upper right corner for the Quick Settings panel, or swipe anywhere else on the screen for the Notification panel.
