Mauro Porcini, President and Chief Design Officer(CDO) of Samsung Electronics, took part in ‘Fortune Brainstorm Design 2025’ on December 2 in Macau, where he shared deep insights into how humanity can be strengthened in an era defined by technology.
Speaking in a session titled “Amplifying Humanity: Design and Brand Vision in the Age of AI”, Porcini introduced a simple yet powerful formula that he believes will define the future of brand leadership: AI × (EI + HI). He emphasized that true value emerges when artificial intelligence (AI) is combined with emotional intelligence (EI) and human intimacy (HI), elevating the human side of technology.
He also addressed the importance of technology in unleashing humanity’s full potential, highlighting that even the most technologically advanced companies must reinforce their sense of humanity-thorugh empathy, storytelling, and authenticity-to create a more profound impact on people’s lives.
The session offered insights into the intersection of technological innovation and human-centered design, providing practical perspectives for industry leaders navigating brand strategy in the AI era.
