‘19 Milan : Prologue

Design starts from understanding people and begins to truly shine when it becomes a part of our daily lives. When experiences acquired through different senses come together as one, they powerfully resonate within each other’s hearts. We call this phenomenon ‘Resonance’. In April 2019, Samsung Design will present the ‘Resonance’ exhibition at Milan Design Week. It will showcase Samsung Design’s deliberations on defining which experiences and heartfelt moments are instilled to further enrich our lives in an age where the mutual-interactions between products and services have become the norm of everyday life. Visitors will enter a maze-like space filled with beautiful lights and directly react with the exhibition based on daily behaviors, such as breathing, talking, and touching – ultimately becoming a part of the exhibition. The various experiences visitors face will become keys to new possibilities that transform the world around them. These experiences embrace the values of Samsung Design that have permeated into our day-to-day lives and deeply capture ‘Be Bold. Resonate with Soul.’ that Samsung Design pursues. This exhibition will demonstrate the bold and essential representation of Samsung Electronics that ushered in a better life and future by connecting people with technology for the past 50 years. The endless possibilities of Samsung Electronics that people have already experienced and will continue experience in the future will become sources of profound resonance.
