2026 Design Miami Seoul Part 2 ‘26 Design Miami Seoul: Artworks Sep 9, 2026
Poster for the 2026 Design Miami exhibition, showcasing concept products and future design to build anticipation.

What stays with us is not function alone, but the humanistic warmth it carries. A familiar touch, a moment that lingers, the quiet rituals of everyday life. What remains in our memories is never technology itself, but the warmth of people and the traces of life they leave behind.

This project is an invitation to see technology not through the lens of functionality, but through the lens of human emotion and experience.
We believe that, at its core, “Design is an act of love”. It begins with understanding people, observing the way they live, and caring deeply about the moments that shape their everyday lives. Great design starts with that intention.

This is also how Samsung approaches AI. Artificial Intelligence is not here to replace people. It is a tool that amplifies Emotional Intelligence (EI) and Human Imagination (HI). Empathy, cultural understanding, intuition, and creativity are what give AI its direction. Ultimately, what makes AI-generated outcomes original and meaningful is our humanity.

This exhibition presents 14 artworks born from that belief.
Each of the 14 Korean artists expresses their own act of love through a unique creative voice. While every work begins with the artist's own sensibility and imagination, AI becomes a collaborator that expands those ideas into richer and more expressive forms.

The S95H allows viewers to experience the artwork in a way that reflects the artist’s original expression—unobstructed by reflection, uncompromised by distortion. Through its display, the artist's every intention unfolds: the subtle textures, the careful choice of color, and yes, even the weight of a single shade of black. The technology becomes invisible; only the human vision remains.
At the same time, S95H goes beyond the screen to shape the space around it. While carrying forward the minimalist evolution of TV design, its “Float Layer Design” transforms the TV into an expressive design object that naturally inhabits the space.

Within this project, analog and digital, intuition and algorithms, art and technology do not replace one another. Instead, they connect, influence one another, and create new experiences together.

Innovation does not begin with better technology alone.
It begins with a deeper understanding of people and a warmer care for their lives. Through this exhibition, Samsung invites us to consider the possibility that innovation, too, can be “an act of love.”

AI + (EI + HI) - 2026 Samsung Design Artist Collaboration

Inside a glossy bright blue frame is the Galaxy Z Fold8, a foldable smartphone that opens like a book. A blue balloon, a steaming teapot-shaped ornament, hands pressing the screen and holding an apple, and a teapot and chessboard below humorously depict technology and communication.
Inside a black frame that steps inward in several layers, a black Music Studio 5 speaker with a round visible speaker grille sits at the center. Concentric circles, wave-like lines, dots, and musical notes spread across neon pink and green, depicting sound connecting people.
Inside a frame covered in long pale pink fur stands an ivory Bespoke AI Family Hub refrigerator with several doors and a vertical screen. Fluffy pink, yellow, and light blue flowers surround it, while snow, small flowers, and a glowing sky create a warm late-winter scene.
Inside a frame surrounded by white columns of different heights, the Galaxy Watch9 and Galaxy Watch Ultra2—digital watches worn on the wrist—overlap. A pink round watch face, colorful bands, small letters, and geometric shapes vividly represent records of health and everyday life.
Inside a translucent mint-colored glass frame, The Frame Pro, a thin horizontal screen, sits at the center of a tall spring landscape. A forest path and cherry blossoms appear on the screen, while two people holding hands walk below among softly drifting petals.
Inside a dark blue frame with repeating small square grids is the Infinite AI Air Purifier, a large blue air purifier with vertical slats across its front. Two people and a dog rest on a mat above it, while a willow tree, parasol, and bicycle create a peaceful early-summer scene.
Inside a vintage silver frame carved with vines and leaves, the Galaxy Buds4 Pro sits at the center of a pale pink flower shaped like an ear. Petals, water drops, and curved lines resembling sound waves spread around the silver wireless earbud, which has a rounded body and a short stem.
Inside a dark wooden frame with hand-carved-looking grain, the Galaxy Book6 Pro, a slim laptop with a screen and keyboard, is open. Beyond its screen, several people walk along a leafy summer path with long blue shadows.
Inside a red metal frame with gently curved top and bottom edges is a quilt made of brightly colored stitched fabric pieces. Rounded fabric objects in multiple colors represent the Bespoke AI Steam Ultra, a low, round robot vacuum that moves across the floor.
Inside a black frame with repeating small square openings, overlapping rectangular screens suggest the S95H OLED TV, a thin flat-screen TV. Dense clusters of small yellow, green, red, and blue dots and circles represent records of everyday family life.
Inside a frame made of light blue and ivory blocks, a figure wears the Galaxy XR headset, with a wide lens covering the eyes and nose. A silver dragon covered with moss and rocks rises above the figure’s head, while starry clothing and mountains represent nature, space, and technology together.
Inside a rust-brown frame patterned with repeating semicircles and circles, three white layered structures suggest The Serif, a slim flat-screen TV. Orange, pink, and pale purple semicircular pieces at the center and soft curves in the background represent time and memories building in layers.
Inside a frame resembling rough gray concrete, the Bespoke AI Combo, a single appliance that washes and dries clothes, is drawn in black-and-white linework. A bird and motorcycle stand before its large round door, surrounded by gears and pipes in a dense industrial scene.
Inside a dark blue frame made of repeating small square glass tiles stands The Movingstyle, a slim vertical screen that can be moved using its handle. A pine tree grows among the screen’s golden canyon and blue mountains, expressing hope and new beginnings.

EVERYTHING, SO FAR…

Aihyung Jo

Rather than presenting a chronological history of technological progress, the work uses metaphor and humor to explore the human desire to connect with someone. Galaxy Z Fold8 appears as a device of civilization, powered by steam from the Utah Teapot as it continuously generates and unfolds new worlds. Various metaphors of human progress, placed inside and outside the folded interface, illustrate how technology has expanded human capabilities and brought countless possibilities.

The Shape of Sound

Evreyday Practice

This work reinterprets Samsung’s design philosophy, “Design is an Act of Love,” as an act of connecting people. Inspired by Music Studio5, it visualizes sound not simply as something to be heard, but as an experience that brings people together. Waves radiating from the center and expanding layers represent the way a single sound fills a space, connecting the senses and experiences of the people within it.

Spring Carries Love

Guimi You

This work captures a small everyday act of love through drifting flower petals and the warmth of a spring landscape. Treating the digital display as a painterly space, it blurs the boundary between painting and display. The Frame Pro becomes more than a display, serving as a bridge between the viewer and the world within the artwork.

Inside a translucent mint-colored glass frame, The Frame Pro, a thin horizontal screen, sits at the center of a tall spring landscape. A forest path and cherry blossoms appear on the screen, while two people holding hands walk below among softly drifting petals.

Frames of Parallel Years

Seohyo

Centered on the OLED S95H , this work visualizes everyday actions in front of the screen as imagined data. Small gestures of love — such as lowering the volume for someone asleep or leaving the TV on while waiting for someone to return — accumulate over a year to form a unique portrait of each family, inviting viewers to discover the stories within these traces.

Inside a black frame with repeating small square openings, overlapping rectangular screens suggest the S95H OLED TV, a thin flat-screen TV. Dense clusters of small yellow, green, red, and blue dots and circles represent records of everyday family life.
