the machinations of evil and tyranny. Recently, such platitudes and storylines have been playing out not on
4-color print but through cutting edge technology on the silver screen theaters! And it hasn’t stopped with
just movies; games, action figures and an entire community of fans and enthusiasts have come
all over the world around this popular cultural phenomenon.
Riding at the top of this wave is Marvel’s the Avengers series of movies. Based on the Marvel comic series
created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, the series’ unique worldview coupled with the dynamic chemistry of the
superhero team members and the gigantic scale of the riveting action has fast become the newest genre to
dominate the global box office. The second movie of the franchise, The Avengers: Age of Ultron shook the movie
world when it was released globally earlier this year. Many viewers were amazed at the multiple locations the movie
took place in — but especially the crucial scenes filmed in Seoul, Korea excited many of us. In addition,

From the outset, the underlying intent was to express the technological advancement in Samsung digital
devices to it’s fullest potential without overshadowing the characters in the movie. To achieve this,
we had to create a unified theme in terms of design, color and materials. Meteorites, one of the strongest materials
in the universe, were first identified as a motif for our 'Metal of Power' concept and were applied to the design of
the devices. During the brainstorming for the design, we also selected ‘Arc’ as an additional keyword.
Not only was it appropriate in conveying the bended screen or the curved line of the Samsung Galaxy S6 devices,
but it also hinted at the Arc Reactor technology that sustains Tony Stark’s heart in the movie.

Bluetooth Device are wearable devices and so were made from titanium metal for lightweight, high durability in the battlefield.
The Flexible Bended Screen allows for quick and easy communication with other team members. All three devices have the
Bended Glass incorporated into the design as well as the appropriate user interaction technology.
Of course, you may assume that all this is hypothetical, matching the fiction of a superhero movie.

already being developed and refined by Samsung. The transparent screen on the Tony Stark Device for example, is technology that is
